On November 13th DEL organised a very successful Jobs Fair in Canal Court Hotel in Newry. Over 50 employers and support organisations were on hand to offer support and assistance for people applying for vacancies advertised on the day. The following day the Europa Hotel in Belfast was the venue for the second Jobs Fair with over 50 employers, support organisations and a Youth Village.
SES had a stand at both fairs offering assistance to current Work Connect clients and offering our programmes to those who may require some assistance.
Action on Hearing Loss used the opportunity to support some of their Work Connect clients engage with employers. This was assisted by DEL providing interpreters for elements of the fair.
